John Armstrong

John Armstrong was beaten over the head and robbed on Cowbridge Common.

He had gone missing after having picked up a customer from a pub in Cardiff.

His bloodstained taxicab was found on an industrial estate in Bridgend later that evening whilst his body was found 11 miles away on Cowbridge Common with catastrophic head injuries.

In December 2020 it was reported that the police were reopening the investigation into his murder in which they said that they were reviewing the forensic evidence and appealing for anyone that might know anything about the case to come forward.
