Elizabeth Jackson

Age: unknown

Sex: female

Date: 1 Jan 1888

Place: unknown

Elizabeth Jackson’s dismembered body was found in June 1889, her remains recovered in sections from the River Thames over several days.
Her case was officially included in the Whitechapel Murders file, though the manner of her death and disposal differed from the street killings attributed to Jack the Ripper.

The first discovery came on June 4th 1889, when a bundle containing part of a female torso was recovered from the Thames near Battersea Pier.
Police initially believed it to be the work of a medical student or butcher because of the clean cuts used to sever the limbs.
