Alice McKenzie

Age: unknown

Sex: female

Date: 17 Jul 1889

Place: Castle Alley, Whitechapel, London

Alice McKenzie was stabbed to death and is thought by some to have been a victim of Jack the Ripper.

She was found murdered in Castle Alley, Whitechapel, in the early hours of Wednesday 17 July 1889, nearly eight months after the death of Mary Jane Kelly. The long gap led many to believe the Ripper had gone, but the similarity of the injuries revived old fears.
