Lorraine Turner was found dead in a pool of blood at her home in Desmond Drive, Old Catton.
Her post mortem showed that she died from head injuries.
A 21-year-old man was charged with her murder but was released before the trial following a review by the Crown Prosecution Service.
Lorraine Turner was last seen alive on Tuesday 13 August 2002. She was found dead in a pool of blood on the Saturday 17 August 2002 by her 10-year-old son and 8 year-old-daughter.
Lorraine Turner had two children and had previously been a journalist for Eastern Counties Newspapers and a press officer at Norwich City Football Club in 1989.
