Arian Arthur was shot at the Jam nightclub in Shoreditch shortly before 5.30am on the Saturday morning of 18 November 2006.
He had been with a group of friends when he had an argument with another man and was then shot.
He was taken to the Royal London Hospital but died shortly after arriving.
There were thought to have been between 30 and 50 people in the club at the time and Arian Arthur had been there in a group of five or six friends. He had been out with his friend celebrating a friend's birthday at the time and had been in the basement area of the club.
After the shooting a black man was seen leaving the club hurriedly and the police were interested in speaking to anyone that had seen him.
