Eila Karjalainen

Eila Karjalainen was found dead near a layby by Barnham Woods or Kings Wood, Woodstock, Oxfordshire on the Duke of Marlborough's Blenheim estate in November 1983.

She was found naked except for her socks about 300 yards from a road covered with leaves by a palace gamekeeper. Lying near her badly decomposed body was a pair of light-coloured slacks, a t-shirt, and a pale green coloured elasticated canvas shoe. The place where her body was found was described as isolated and to have been disturbed by animals.
