Errol Davis

Age: 24

Sex: male

Date: 5 Oct 2008

Place: seOne club, Weston Street, London Bridge Station

Errol Davis was shot at the seOne nightclub in Weston Street, near London Bridge Station in London at 5.40am on Sunday 5 October 2008.

His post-mortem gave his cause of death as being a gunshot wound to the head.

It was thought that a man had come up to him and pulled out the gun and shot him at close range.

He was helped outside by his friends and taken to the Royal London Hospital in an ambulance but died later that morning at 11.50am.

He had been shot with a Glock 9mm hand gun which was said to have been the same gun used to murder Larry Safie in Barry Road, East Dulwich on 22 February 2009 at 1.15pm. They had both been shot behind the ear.

A rapper from Peckham Rye was tried for both murders but acquitted. However, he was convicted of shooting another man with the same gun and sentenced to six years. He was said to have been a member of the 'SN1' (Spare No-1) gang, an offshoot of the Peckham Boys gang. He was also noted for having been an artist on the SN1 record label and to have been involved with a song entitled, 'Rat-a-tat-tat', by another rapper.

Errol Davis had been one of the main suspects in the murder of Jimoh Plunkett who was shot at the Zest nightclub in Ipswich on 9 December 2006, whose murder also remains unsolved.

Errol Davis had been from Rotherhithe.
