Sajid Saddique

Age: 32

Sex: male

Date: 14 Feb 2007

Place: Heaton, Bradford

Sajid Saddique was not seen since going out for a business meeting in 2007. In 2014 his case was turned into a murder investigation.

His disappearance had been treated as a missing persons inquiry until 2014 when new evidence was uncovered and a murder inquiry was opened. A 62-year-old man and another man were then also arrested. A third person was also arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders. However, no charges were made after the Crown Prosecution Service ruled there was insufficient evidence against them.

He had lived at home with his family in Heaton, Bradford. He had three children, two daughters then aged six and two, and a son aged nine-months-old.

He was last seen by his family when he left the house on the morning of 2 February 2007 saying that he was going to a business meeting in Shipley and would be back in 30 minutes.

His gold-coloured Volkswagen Bora car was later found at the top of the Asda supermarket car park in Manor Road, Shipley. He was thought to have used the cashpoint at the supermarket earlier that morning at around 10:00am.

During their investigation the police searched farmhouses in Clayton and Low Moor.

An in quest was held into his death in December 2020 which concluded that on the balance of probabilities he had been unlawfully killed. In February 2023 it was reported that the police had recieved new information regarding his murder.

He had run a car dealership.
