Paul Cannon was killed at a pub. There was a trial but results not known. The trial was halted on its fourth day due to legal reasons.
He was attacked in the men’s lavatory.
Paul Cannon had 40 cuts and bruises, mostly to his head and had been jumped on causing a fatal liver injury. His cause of death was given as haemorrhaging and laceration of the liver caused by stamping or jumping on his body.
He was found slumped between two cars outside the pub.
The attack had happened at the Magnet Public House in Addlestone, but the court heard that the landlady there had refused to call an ambulance because she was worried about losing her licence.
Paul Cannon was a Glasgow Celtic fan and it was said that the man who had killed him had been a Rangers fan.
