Mark Stewart was shot six times at the junction of Atkins Road and Kings Avenue in Clapham on 24 October 2002.
A man was seen to run up to him in the street in the dark at the junction of Atkins Road and Kings Avenue in Clapham and shoot him twice in the pelvis and when Mark Stewart fell, the man was seen to shoot him another four times in the head.
Mark Stewart was a Jamaican and worked as a cabinet maker but was also a drug dealer.
He was confirmed dead at the scene.
Mark Stewart was found to have had a gun tucked into his trousers at the time although it was said that he had not had time to use it to defend himself.
A number of arrests were made but no one was charged.
The police described his murder as a 'nasty cold-blooded execution'.
He was also known as Marom Hines and Maron Hines and had lived in Doddington Grove, Kennington.
