Jordan Ratcliffe went missing after being dropped off in Manchester city centre in 2008.
He had been dropped off by his aunt in Tib Street in the Northern Quarter at about 4.45pm on 31 August 2008 near to a hostel where he was staying.
He had a small rucksack with him with some biscuits in and £5. He had been wearing a black and grey jacket, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
He was described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of medium build, with ginger hair and brown eyes.
Sightings of him were later reported in Portsmouth in 2014 but nothing came of it.
In 2017 the police drained a section of the Ashton Canal in Ancoats looking for him.
