Kevin OBrien was stabbed in East Street, Walworth on 27 January 2002 outside the George IV pub.
His attacker was described as a 6ft tall black man aged 23 to 27.
He had been out drinking with friends and family at the George IV pub and it was thought that he had got involved in an altercation there. An ambulance arrived at the scene at 3am.
Kevin OBrien was 6ft tall with dark hair and had an Irish accent. At the time he had been wearing blue trousers and a grey woollen coat.
