Hisham Ibrahim was beaten to death by a group of white people who had accused him of trying to steal or take their cab.
A man was tried for his murder but found not guilty.
The court heard that he had been kicked to death in the street by a gang of thugs after which the gang of thugs had walked off laughing.
The man was said to have attacked Hisham Ibrahim shortly after he had been refused entry into a club that had been showing a Lennox Lewis v Mike Tyson boxing fight on the TV.
