Place: Rochford Road, Southend, Essex

Andrea Daly died in a house fire at her home on 10 November 2005.

The front door to her house had been doused in petrol and set on fire at about 3.30am. Petrol had also been put through the letterbox.

She died from smoke inhalation.

The police said that she didn't appear to have been the obvious target.

Three cars had been seen in Eastwoodberry Crescent around the time of the fire with three men who had been seen with a petrol can.

Elsewhere a small white Ford Fiesta hatchback car was seen shortly before the fire with its engine running.

A black four-wheel drive BMW was also seen in the area around the time.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested in relation to the fire but released without charge.
