A man that the police said they thought had killed her, who had been convicted of another similar murder, died in 2018.
The 1996 inquest into her murder identified a certain man as probably being responsible for her murder, but in 2018 it was determined that that was flse and in December 2018 Elsie Frost's family were granted permission for a fresh inquest on the grounds that that there was new evidence avalable that was not put before the Coroner in 1965.
