Surjeet Singh was stabbed during a fight at a fairground in Southall Park.
He was later found in Green Drive. Eight people were arrested in connection with his murder and several people were later charged with conspiracy to commit GBH but were all acquitted at a trial at Isleworth Crown Court in April 2014.
He died from a stab wound to the neck.
The police were called to reports of a large group of men fighting in Southall Park at about 9pm. Surjeet Singh was found shortly after and treated by paramedics but was declared dead at the scene at 9.57pm.
His post-mortem examination said that his cause of death was a stab wound to the neck.
Two other men were also stabbed in the fight. A 25-year-old was stabbed in the armpit and a 32-year-old had a wound to his arm.
