Jason Gerald Abraham-Millership was found dead in the Birmingham Canal near Albion Road, West Bromwich on 1 February 2006.

He had been kidnapped from outside his home in Park Lane East, Tipton, on the night of 31 January 2006 and was found dead in the canal the following day.

Three people were arrested in connection with his murder but no charges or convictions are known.

The post-mortem stated that his cause of death was drowning. However, he also had superficial wounds consistent with having struggled and having been beaten. He was also found to have had needle marks on both arms.

Witnesses had seen him being bundled into a car outside his home in Park Lane East during the night.

The police said that they thought that he had been murdered by people that thought that he had been linked to a number of drug overdoses in the Tipton area. Earlier in the evening several people had gone to his house where a heated conversation took place after which they left. However, it was said that they later returned shortly before midnight and called Jason Abraham-Millership outside again. Jason Abraham-Millership was said to have been in bed at the time but came out and was then forced into the back of a car which was then driven off at high speed.

He was found the following day at about 2pm dead in the canal near Albion Road and Oldbury Road.

Jason Abraham-Millership had been had been single and unemployed with three children and was said to have been a drug addict.
