Eileen Evans was run over by a seven-tonne white box van on Newtown Lane, Cradley Heath on 23 July 2004.
The van was never traced.
She had been walking along Newtown Lane which was not far from her home in St Luke's Street to go to the local shop. she was run down as she crossed Newtown Lane.
She died from multiple injuries.
The driver was described as a white, middle aged man.
The Coroner recorded a verdict of accidental death but her husband said that it was murder.
