Kevin Ramsey was run over as he cycled home from a pub on Sutton Road, Aldridge, at the junction with Beacon Road on 9 April 1982.
He had been struck by a light-coloured Mark 3 Ford Cortina which drove off dragging his bike along with it, after which he was struck by another car which stopped. It was noted that the road had been unlit.
