Mashooq Khan was stabbed to death in a front garden at a house in Tetley Road on 6 June 2006 after making a bogus pizza delivery.

Two people were tried for his murder but acquitted.

It was said that Mashooq Khan had been in a relationship with a woman who had separated from her husband and that his murder was an honour killing. It was said that he had been ambushed after a bogus order for a pizza was made and that when he turned up at the address in Tetley Road in his Toyota car he was stabbed in the heart.

It was thought that his attacker had run off down Tetley Road and into Formans Road after the murder.

The two people tried for Mashooq Khan's murder said that they had gone to a funfair on the night of the murder and had after gone to their cousin's house.

Mashooq Khan had run RMP Pizzas, a pizza take-away business, in Acocks Green which he had set up.

Mashooq Khan had come to the United Kingdom from Afghanistan and was married.
