Andrew George Bentley

Andrew George Bentley was shot behind the Flying Pizza Restaurant in Glossop Road, Sheffield city centre.

He was shot in the rear car park.

It was said that a masked man had gone to the Flying Pizza restaurant with a gun and chased him out into the car park to the rear and shot him in the early hours of 12 April 1996. Andrew Bentley had been leaving the restaurant at the time when the masked man approached and chased him.

The shooting was said to have taken place following an earlier argument between two men.

The gunman was said to have then escaped in a stolen car, a Vauxhall Calibra with false number plates, which was found on fire shortly afterwards.
