Mark Krostwitz was from Winnipeg in Canada and had left for a trip to Europe in 1989 but never returned.
His family said that they received a call from a female employee at a hospital in London in 1990 asking to speak to either a Graeme Mark or a Gary Markham, but that they had said that they knew no one of that name. However, they said that they later realised that it might have had something to do with Mark Krostwitz who they had last heard of in October 1989, noting that he had suffered from epilepsy and might not have been able to identify himself.
Mark Krostwitz was reported missing in October 1989.
