Mayooran Mahendrarajah was attacked in an alleyway running between Greenford Road and the Tesco Metro supermarket on 16 March 2006.
The police were called out at 8.25pm on 16 March 2006 after reports that a man was seriously injured. Mayooran Mahendrarajah was taken to New Ealing Hospital where he died at 9.49pm.
He had been out with a friend whilst walking through the alley when he was assaulted.
A post-mortem gave his cause of death as due to head injuries.
Three men were arrested in connection with his murder but no one was convicted.
Mayooran Mahendrarajah had lived in Rose Gardens, Southall.
