Mosheanyo Cameron was stabbed outside the Blackbird Leys community centre in Blackbird Leys.
A man was tried for his murder but acquitted. He was said to have stabbed Mosheanyo Cameron during a row.
Mosheanyo Cameron was stabbed in the heart.
He had gone to the community centre to play pool and had after gone out to smoke cannabis with some friends. It was said that the man tried for his murder had been part of another group and had thought that Mosheanyo Cameron's group had been talking about him and a row started. It was heard at the trial that the man tried for his murder had previously been heard to threaten to kill Mosheanyo Cameron.
It was thought that his murder had been seen by more people than had come forward at the time and the police asked for the other people to come forward to say what they had seen.
The police said that rumours that his murder was gang and drug related were not true.
Mosheanyo Cameron was from Jamaica. The man that was tried for his murder was also from Jamaica and they had been friends there before coming to Britain.
