Adrian Roberts was shot in a bail hostel.
He had been visiting a friend in a bail hostel in Greenhill Road, Harlesden when four men came in to steal drugs and money. He was forced to lie face down on a bed and was then shot twice in the back.
He had three street names, Buds, Blessed and Popeye2.
It was suggested that Adrian Roberts was shot in revenge for the murder of Patrick Smit who was killed on 25 May 1999.
Shortly after he was murdered, Clayton King was murdered at the Palm Beach nightclub on Harrow Road. The police suspected that Clayton King was murdered in revenge for Adrian Roberts's murder.
Whilst investigating Adrian Roberts murder the police found two imitation firearms and a shotgun in searches and also recovered a handgun from a car at Adrian Roberts's funeral.
