Ho Ay Long

Ho Ay Long was found floating in the River Thames near the Southbank in London at 9.30pm on Tuesday 25 October 1988.

He had been strangled.

He was last seen alive the previous evening, Monday 24 October 1988, leaving his home in North Peckham.

When his body was pulled out of the river, he had been wearing beige trousers and a black cropped vest with a spider in a spider web motif on the front and back and was bare foot. However, it was noted that when he had left home he had been wearing a brown leather flying jacket over his clothes and a pair of trainers.

It was said that when he was pulled out of the river, he had not been in the water for more than 30 minutes.
