An infant male child was found wrapped in a parcel of linen and newspaper.
The feet and lower portion of the child's back were burned. His arms and thighs were also covered in soot and its skin dry as though he had been placed up a chimney and his head was smashed in.
The child was wrapped in a newspaper dated 13 August 1906.
The child was a newly born and in his right hand he clasped a tiny seashell and a piece of fur or hair.
