The body of an infant was found in the River Granta at Duxford on 16 March 1908.
The doctor said that death was due to shock caused by immersion in the water.
The child had been in the water for 24-48 hours.
The body was found by a miller. He said that the river was flowing at about 1mph and the body was about 10-15 yards from a house and 100 yards from several other houses.
