Amy Rose Chellingworth was run over near Hammersmith Bridge.
The police said that after running Amy Chellingworth over the occupants of the car had turned off their lights and had dashed off at a speed estimated to be about 40mph.
The police said that they were looking for a grey car.
A man was tried for her mansalughter but acquitted.
