Alice Ada Rimmer died from injuries she recieved whilst riding in a cab.
She had been in the cab with a man who she robbed of a soverign. When he found out he took it back and then got out but as the cab was driving off he jumped on the step and hit her through the window several times.
When Alice Rimmer got back her nose was bleeding and she said that a man that had accused her of robbing him had hit her.
She was later taken to Brownlow Hill Hospital where she died on the following Wednesday.
