Mary Elizabeth Vincent

Mary Elizabeth Vincent died from an illegal operation.

She died in St. George's Hospital.

Her doctor gave evidence at the inquest to say that Mary Vincent had told him that someone had performed an illegal operation on her but that he did not think it was his duty to disclose the secrets of his patients. The Coroner replied that it was the duty of doctors to give the police information in such cases and the jury agreed.

Mary Vincent had been a music hall artiste.
