Aivaras Danilevicius

Age: 35

Sex: male

Date: 1 Jul 2004

Place: Hawthorn Lane, Warfield, Bracknell

Aivaras Danilevicius was murdered in late summer 2004.

His remains were found in a ditch 12 years later on 24 July 2015 by workmen. His cause of death was unknown but he had blunt force trauma injuries to his head that would have contributed to his death. He also had a broken nose. His body had been wrapped up in bin bags and a blanket.

Examination also found that he had a back trauma that his family might well have known about. He was also found to have had tooth veneers even though his teeth were quite healthy. He had seven veneers and it was said that they would have been very noticeable.

He was thought to have been murdered elsewhere and dumped in Hawthorn Lane where he was found between 2008 and 2013.

His remains were identified through DNA which were traced to a woman in Lithuania.

Aivaras Danilevicius was a Lithuanian and had arrived in the UK in 1996. He was a homosexual and had made connections in the London gay community.

The police said that they were interested in speaking to anyone that had known him around 2003-4 as well as people from the gay community that had known him.
