Robert Lawrence was stabbed at a house in Great Dunmow whilst drinking with friends.
It was said that Robert Lawrence and a 5 other people were drinking and joking together at a house in Great Dunmow when in the course of their joking Robert Lawrence accidently fell upon a knife held by another man and suffered injuries from which he died on 1 Novermber 1606.
The man who was holding the knife was at large at the time of the inquisition.
