The body of an infant child was found wrapped up in a parcel on Cheveley Road, Newmarket.
It was discovered by a 9-year-old boy from Stanley Road, Newmarket at 3.30pm who had been out playing with three of his friends.
The parcel was tied up with newspaper and a white cloth.
The boys took the parcel to Newmarket where it was examined.
The child was found to have weighed 3 1/2lbs and was thought to have been still born and so no inquest was held.
