The body of a male child was found floating in the River Thames in a suitcase at Thames Ditton.

The child was about 4-8 months old and was well nourished and had been in its night dress.

It had been found in a suitcase in the water opposite Thames Ditton. The suitcase was made of cardboard and was covered with thin leather. It was found by a boatman.
