A man was found dead in the River Lea.

At his post-mortem nine small pebbles and the top of a lead pencil and several other articles the size of a chestnut were found in his stomach.

A piece of paper was found on him with an address on Forest Road, Walthamstow but inquiries failed to help solve his identity.
