Yetta Greenberg

Age: unknown

Sex: female

Date: 23 Jan 1923

Place: Perranporth Beach

Yetta Greenberg was found dead in the sea off of Perranporth Beach.

She had been missing since September 1922.

When she was found she was identified by her teeth and by one of her feet which was still intact which was quite large and flat.

The father of Myrtle Ford had attended her inquest as Myrtle Ford had disappeared around the same time but was satisfied that it was not Myrtle Ford because his daughter had been missing some teeth.

It was suggested that Yetta Greenberg had committed suicide by taking morphia at Chapel Porth near St. Agnes and had then been carried out to sea. Yetta Greenberg had had holidays in the region and had previously spoken to a friend about how nice a death like that would be.
