Albert Mark Fairhead

Albert Mark Fairhead was found dead in his home with his head in a tub of water.

The Coroner said that if he had chosen to commit suicide then he had chosen a most difficult method.

It was noted that his business was sound and that he had no domestic worries.

The cause of death was given as suffocation from drowning.

Newport Road has since been developed and widened with all the houses around 379 having been demolished. However, it’s not clear where 379 would have been.
