Herbert Baker died 10 years after being run down by a motor car.
He had been run down in Station Road, Winsford and was later found unconscious and suffering from contusion of the spine. Over the years he gradually weakened and developed muscular degeneration of the heart from which he died.
An open verdict was returned at his inquest.
He had been an insurance agent.
