Winifred Reece

Winifred Reece died from a head injury.

She was found lying in the gutter on Harrington Street in Liverpool city centre.

It was thought that she might have fallen but the doctor who carried out her post-mortem said that the injury was not what he might expect from a fall but rather what he would expect from a blow by a hammer.
