The body of a newly-born child was found wrapped up in a form of parcel in the back garden of 29 Anglesea Road in Ipswich.

The person that had lived at 29 Anglesea Road said that he had gone out into his garden on the Monday evening about seven o'clock and that his dog had attracted his attention to a brown paper parcel lying on a wall. He picked it up and took it to a table where he found that it was secured with string and fastened with two safety pins in at the corners. Inside he found the body of the child wrapped up in two cloths.
