A shunter called Mycock was found hanging by a belt in a cellar in the railway station three years after he vanished.
His skeleton was found by a plumber who had gone down into the cellar. He said that he thought it was a bundle of rags but on closer examination found it to be human.
The body had two cards in its pockets which were identified by the man's father as belonging to his son.
