Kevin Hector was shot whilst sitting in a parked silver Ford Focus car in Golders Green Road, just off the North Circular in northwest London on Thursday 20 October 1999.
He had been sitting in the car at about 11.30pm with a friend when a gunman started shooting at them. Kevin Hector was hit four times and was taken to hospital where he died an hour later. His friend was also shot but survived.
