The body of a newly born child was found in a flower bed in Charlton, southeast London.
It was wrapped up in a copy of a newspaper, a piece of white sheeting and several pieces of brown paper.
The post-mortem showed that death was due to asphyxia from strangulation due to a piece of tape that had been tied tightly around its neck and that the death had happened two days earlier.
