Date: 18 Dec 1926
Place: Rodden Farm, Weymouth
Olive Linda Emma Miller was found drowned in a brook 18in. deep.
She was a pretty dairymaid and had gone out on the Saturday morning to drive in the cows.
She was later found dead in the brook in 18 inches of water.
It was thought that she might have fainted because of the cold weather and the police concluded that there was no foul play.
An open verdict was returned.
Rodden Farm was in a hamlet halfway between Weymouth and Abbotsbury.
