Baby

The body of a newly-born child was found wrapped up in a parcel at the rear of a house on the London Road.

It was found by a woman who was going down her garden at the rear of her house wheeling a perambulator when the wheels got caught against an object lying in the gateway. She saw that it was a brown paper parcel and when she broke it open she saw the body of a dead female child.
