James Owusu-Agyekum was shot at his front door at 10.45pm on 2 November 2016.
Paramedics arrived shortly before 11pm, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was thought that his shooting was a case of mistaken identity and that he was caught in a feud between rival Harlesden gangs.
He was shot four times in the back and once in the arm. It was said that as he lay dying, he said to his mother, 'Mum, I haven’t done anything to anyone, I don’t like trouble'.
It was thought that he had been shot by one of two men on bicycles who had then ridden off through Stonebridge Estate.
His inquest returned a verdict of unlawful killing.
James Owusu-Agyekum was a business student and had worked for a shipping company in Wembley.
