Abdul Bhatti was attacked at the Notting Hill Carnival in Blenheim Crescent, Notting Hill on 28 August 2000.
He was beaten and kicked by a gang of up to 50 young men. Police filmed the group rampaging through the carnival shortly before Abdul Bhatti was attacked.
