The body of a male child was found in a parcel in Ranelagh Gardens near the Royal Hospital grounds in Chelsea, London.

It was found by two boys just inside the railings. They saw two little feet protruding and they took the parcel to the police.

The doctor said that it was a fully developed male child and that it had been dead for about three days. He said that the cause of death appeared to be suffocation.

An open verdict was returned.
