The body of a newly-born child was found on the running board of a motor-car.
It was wrapped up in sheeting made of cotton and also two sheets of paper.
A doctor stated that death was due to asphyxia by suffocation and that the child had not lived very long but was well developed.
The parcel was found by a man as he was stepping out of his car. He said that the weight impressed him and he started to open it and found a baby's head and informed the police.
